Introduction
We are pleased to announce a special session on "Sport Data Analysis" at the Ubi-Media 2026 workshop, to be held in Penang, Malaysia, from 18 – 22 January 2026.
This special session aims to bring together scholars, data scientists, and industry professionals from the domains of sports technology, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to discuss the latest trends, methods, and applications of data analysis in sports science and performance evaluation. With the growth of wearable sensors, video analytics, and AI-based modeling, sport data has become a critical component for performance improvement, injury prevention, and tactical optimization.
We invite original research contributions that explore innovative and practical approaches to collecting, processing, analyzing, and applying sport-related data.
